National(Level 10)/High Performance
The National Program is for athletes that have developed the skills to compete at a National and World level. They train from 20 – 30 hours per week. This program is demanding while balancing both the physical and mental aspect of the athlete.
Athletes in this program compete in qualifying competitions for the opportunity to be selected to represent Ontario and/or Canada in meets all across Canada, the U.S. and Internationally. They compete in meets such as National Championships, Pan Am Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup events as well as the Olympics Games. ASF is proud to have had athletes represent us in all the events listed above.
University Scholarships are also available to our competitive athletes. ASF athletes have attended such universities as UCLA, Stanford, University of Arizona, University of Michigan, Cal Berkley and University of Hawaii, just to name a few.
This is a 12 month commitment. Regular season training hours are consistent from Sept to June. Optional summer hrs are available in July and August. Minor schedules changes may occur due to special events we host, holidays and competitions.
